Intuitive human-machine interfaces (HMIs) have experienced a great evolution in the last decades. Accurate, reliable, multimodal, with integrated processing and relatively inexpensive sensors have contributed decisively to the development of HMIs. The HMI of a given equipment is today a key element to the acceptance of such equipment by the end-users.
This technical workshop aims to bring together academicians, researchers, students, and industry professionals from various sectors to discuss and exchange ideas, enlarge networks, and present recent progress and achievements in the emerging areas HMIs and sensors.
